By AlBara AlWuhaib February is the month when Kuwaitis celebrate their national holidays. The past year had been remarkable. It included some of the major protests in the history of the Country, unprecedented incident where a Kuwaiti lady was jailed for expressing her opinion, & lots more. The root of it all goes back many years ago. This Diwaniya will shed lights on the History of Democracy in Kuwait, & how the country reached its current status. AlBara AlWuhaib is an activist, who served several organizations. He volunteered in the Kuwaiti Red Crescent during the Iraq war in 2003. He's also a member in the Kuwaiti Human Rights Foundation, the Kuwait Transparency Society, a founder of a Book Reading Club (as part of AlJalees project), & the Assistant Manager for the Kuwait Memorial Museum.
